Great News

i have some great news on the cake forefront. i will begin a media blitz in january!!! ok so it's not really a blitz, but i will be advertising in the 2009 wedding planner and guide. for those of you recently married girls you are probably familiar with this for everyone else it's basically the bible for brides in the madison/milwaukee area. every year there is a bridal expo at the alliant energy center and these books are handed out. they are also distributed by all companies who advertise in them. the main show is 3 days and is in jan. i will hopefully be attending to check out the booths. there is a smaller show, 1 day in the summer and i think it's in the dells?? that i hope to be showing at. the cost for advertising is not cheap so i have asked for help from my employer (the prairie cafe). the owner agreed to help and we're working out the details for the cafe and myself to merge and do cakes as a part of the cafe but still keep my own identity. i'm planning on making myself known with the name Cakes by Alisha available exclusively at The Prairie Cafe. So to make a long story short i need to up my game and get my $#*% together because i should get some business through this. i am going to still post cakes to this blog with commentary and personal thoughts but i have a more professional look and info for sales available at my other blog: cakesbyalisha.blogspot.com so check me out in both spots. i'm not linking the blogs so that i can say what i want on this one!!
